TAX INFORMATION
Failure to pay local taxes can result in serious consequences!
Restrictions on Visa Extension
if a visa holder fails to pay local taxes, their visa extension will be limited to a maximum of 6 months. This applies up to the third instance of failure. Starting from the fourth failure, visa extension will not be permitted.
When a foreign national applies for a visa extension, the government will automatically check for any tax delinquency.
Immigration officials will review delinquency information provided by relevant departments, and visa extension will be restricted if you are found to be in arrears. However, if you settle the outstanding tax as instructed by immigration officials, you may have your visa extended.
